It’s time to research the college you specifically chose in class the other day… Collect the following information in a Word document, click on comments, then copy-and-paste [your answers ONLY] to the comments section below before the end of class.
- NAME of School
- LOCATION of School
- How FAR from PAMPA?
- SIZE of student body – How many kids attend this school?
- Go to ADMISSIONS for incoming freshmen.
- Find REQUIREMENTS
- Find MINIMUM ACT/SAT score accepted
- GPA requirements
- CLASS RANK requirements
- OTHER requirements
- Find HOUSING. Choose a dorm and tell why you chose it:
- Look at the application. Do you have to write an essay?
- Find an online tour of the campus. (If there’s not one, explore the website for a closer look at the facilities– dorm rooms, class rooms, academic/athletic buildings, etc…) What is your favorite part about the campus?
- Google the town name where your school is located. Find out what is available that might be fun in this town.
Post your findings to the “Comments” section of this blog. This is a great opportunity for you to think about your future. Take advantage of this time in class!
